  We've used J Davis for close to 30 years. They did the first trimming ever on our 150+ (yes, over 150 on an acre homesite) post oaks, black jack oaks, & even a few live oaks. They may not be the cheapest game in town, but they definitely are the BEST. They do a great job (they actually know where & how to cut limbs to promote the best growth). They've had to take out several huge trees that either died or were so storm damaged that they weren't safe. Even when one huge tree was only 5' from the side of the house, they did a great professional job. Their guys are careful & friendly. They clean up to the point that my yard usually looks better when they leave than it did when they arrived. I HIGHLY recommend them.
